Once I have completed the Individual Species Galleries I will
resume updating the group gallery web pages
Enjoy the beauty of many North America's birds and mammals! Nearly
800 species of
birds plus many large mammals and cetaceans, including a number of the
rarest North American
birds from places like Attu Island Alaska, Texas, SE Arizona, Florida,
Nova Scotia, and
California, to name just a few! And, two special galleries of the
Birds of Japan and China.
A special note: Those who do photography, especially taking
literally thousands of images,
realize the painstaking time involved in not just obtaining their
images, but the post processing
of them and placing them on a website. What you see on this site
has taken me over 40 years
of hard work. But that is only what is behind me. At any one
moment there are many thousands
of recently taken images which need to be worked and placed on the site.
This site has gone through
many updates over the past 13+ years however 80% of the images are from
the "old" days of film and
bad resolution monitors to attempt to scan and process acceptable images
to post on this site.
As the days and years go by many species images are being updated with
digital replacements.

ABOUT OUR WEBSITE:
I am working on placing all images of a particular species into their respective
SPECIES galleries,
therefore, to see many
of the newest and best images of a species, use the "IMAGE
LIST" link
and search on the
species you want to view.
I am Not adding any newer images to the specific
group galleries (i.e. Hummingbirds) until this work is complete.
As of this date, I'm working through the S's alphabetically (i.e.
Sandpipers) and continuing.
HOWEVER, there are some species galleries S thru Y that are complete so
check!
